Candice Birns
candice is the punk rock of hairstyling. i found her on the back of a pirateship through a friend of mine. she’s been slaying rockstars like THE RINGERS, THE SCENE, THE DIRTY KINGS, and OH NO, NOT STEREO. candice has an edge to her that is cutthroat and sharp. she’s very direct and on point when it comes to periods and trends; past, present and future. she is an expertise when it comes to hair.
more recently you may have had the honor of seeing her work with kucoon designs “mile high club” at the derby in june of 2007 and “in your eyes” fashion show at the ReCenter of december 2007. her work can also be seen on some of david myrick’s LACentric pieces.
candice has had training in classical hairstyling for period hairdos ranging from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.
