L.A.centric
12 months and 12 photographers to shoot Los Angeles. what do you get? a year long exhibition called “L.A.centric” at rampART space in downtown Los Angeles to showcase their perspective on LA culture. This next month will showcase one of my favorite eccentrics, director, dp, photographer, inspiration, co-collaborator and favorite new friend that I have come to love,
David Myrick. His work will feature 5-6 super large prints of his a skewed view of Los Angeles.
I’ve seen a sneak preview and it is quite astonishing. He has definitely sparked me to be re-inspired. I have gotten to work with him in the past as the director of photography on my Heinz Ketchup commercials and soon to be OOah’s music video for “Hacksaw”. I am so excited to be working with him again. Check back again to find out the status on that one. We are getting it ready for The Do Lab’s Artist network and have an incredible production team we are going to be working with.
